Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is one of the most mentally tough men around in the business, as evidenced by his ability to work under intense pressure (see the two NFC Championships and Super Bowl 56 ring).
You can add “physically tough” to McVay’s résumé, in case there was any doubt over it. Just look at how quickly he shrugs off this accidental hit to the chin from cornerback Shaun Jolly while the latter ran onto the field.
We know that NFL head coaches have a very limited sleeping schedule during the regular season. In case McVay was feeling lethargic at the start of the game, the hit from Jolly is sure to wake him up.
The Rams come into Kansas City on a four-game losing streak, looking to play spoiler against a team that holds the top seed in the AFC. The defending Super Bowl champions are without superstar wideout Cooper Kupp and starting quarterback Matthew Stafford for this game.
