Jadeveon Clowney is still a free agent hoping to get this best deal possible after he was forced to come down on wanting $20M per year from a team.
On Friday, Dianna Russini of ESPN reported that both the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks are still interested in signing the defensive end.
Russini added that both teams have made multiple offers to Clowney, but none of those offers have matched his desired asking price tag.
Sources tell Russini they believe “he is just not in a hurry to sign.”
The Seahawks have been in touch with Clowney throughout the offseason, but things took a drastic turn when Jarren Reed, who sold his No. 90 jersey to Clowney last season, stated he was wearing that number again going forward.
The former No. 1 overall pick of the Texans back in 2014 recorded 31 tackles, three sacks, an interception, two defensive touchdowns, four forced fumbles, two recoveries and three pass defenses in 13 games played in 2019.
