With the playoffs looming near, the Seattle Seahawks are showing they are unbothered and have plenty of time for shenanigans to keep their minds clear before things really get real in the postseason.
During a recent practice, teammates played a game of “rock, paper, scissors” to pass the time. Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin set practice on fire when he suddenly used his missing left hand that proved to be unbeatable in the game.
If you’re wondering and haven’t heard the story by now, Shaquem was born with amniotic band syndrome affecting his left hand, causing his fingers on his left hand not to fully develop. At age 4, his mother found him in the kitchen, attempting to use a butcher’s knife to amputate his own hand because of the pain.
Griffin was selected 141st overall in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Seahawks, where his brother Shaquill plays cornerback.
