Earlier this offseason, Jamal Adams formally requested a trade from the New York Jets. Despite him talking about the team in the past tense, the franchise has not wavered from trying to keep him on the team for the foreseeable future.
The Dallas Cowboys reportedly attempted to trade for Adams twice over the past two years, but nothing has come of it. Over the past few weeks, other teams have made inquiries about Adams’ availability as well.
On Thursday, NFL reporter Rob Rang revealed that the Seattle Seahawks have expressed interest in the All-Pro safety.
Adams has a list of eight preferred trade destinations that include the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
