Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf couldn’t hide his frustrations during Sunday’s road game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Metcalf was fed up on the sidelines after Seattle QB Drew Lock (starting in place of an injured Geno Smith) threw a costly interception in the fourth quarter. Metcalf threw his helmet in disgust and (likely inadvertently) broke one of the team’s helmet warmers:
Aside from a 31-yard touchdown in the opening quarter, Metcalf has had a mostly quiet game for the slumping Seahawks. But given that he’s one of the game’s best at contested catches, it’s easy to understand why he’s frustrated.
Seattle has to find a way to feed their top offensive player over these final four games if they’re to sneak back into the playoff race.
