Social media detectives caught the Seattle Seahawks disrespecting former franchise star and current Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson.
The Seahawks posted a photo of Richard Sherman enjoying his special dinner feast after Seattle’s 2014 road win over the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving Thursday. The photo below shows Sherman eating while being interviewed by NBC reporter Michele Tafoya.
So, what’s so strange about this social media post? As heads-up observers on social media noted, the Seahawks cropped their former quarterback out of the original image:

Indeed, it seems like the Seahawks still aren’t happy with how Wilson’s 2022 departure played out.
Wilson was traded to the Broncos in the 2022 offseason, following Seattle’s first losing campaign with the future Hall of Famer at the helm. While Wilson endured a tough first year in Mile High City, he has regained his Pro Bowl-like play and has Denver (5-5) in a playoff contention.
The Seahawks (6-4) can move into a tie for first in the NFC West with a win over the 49ers tonight.
