During last week’s matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers, Carlos Dunlap could be seen picking up a shoe belonging to the opposing team and tossing it down field. Cameras from CBS were able to catch him in the act, and Tony Romo went ahead and provided some commentary on it.
The shoe toss occurred early in the fourth quarter of a frustrating 17-0 loss for the Seahawks. Dunlap was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for the toss during the game, pushing the Packers well into Seahawks territory.
On Saturday, the NFL announced the Seattle Seahawks defensive end would be fined $10,300 for his actions.
He would later apologize for his shoe toss, telling Seahawks insider Bob Condotta, “I made a foolish mistake.”
On the year, Dunlap has 15 total tackles and 0.5 sacks.
