Seattle Seahawks rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy got his training camp sessions started off with controversy after his name began to trend online because of an adult star.
Head Huncho, a transgender OnlyFans model, took to X and posted screenshots to expose Byron Murphy for wanting certain services done to him, but not paying her the $15,000 he allegedly promised.
The agent of Byron Murphy issued a statement Friday on the matter.
Ron Slavin, Murphy’s agent, said his client is a “victim of an extortion attempt from a text conversation that began and ended online.”
Slavin added that the Texas product had no contact with the model, and other young players in the league were also targeted by a similar blackmail scheme.
The statement further added Byron Murphy and his agent have handed the case over to the FBI, and all the people involved in the extortion and blackmail schemes targeted towards NFL players will be prosecuted.
