NFL RedZone offices were forced to evacuate as an alarm could be heard going off during the broadcast.
As the late window of games was coming to a close and Hanson was preparing to hand viewers off to their national broadcast stations, alarms started to go off in the RedZone studio.
An alarm could be heard sounding live on the NFL Network channel as the broadcast was left stuck on the Philadelphia Eagles game with the Buffalo Bills.
Despite the chaotic issue, Hanson handled the situation like a true professional.
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is a first in my 20-something year broadcasting career,” Hanson told his audience. “We have an alarm going off in the studios of NFL RedZone right now. … We are being told we have to evacuate the building. We do not know the nature of the emergency.”
Fans were deep in prayer for Hanson and everybody in the building.
