A tough day for Mac Jones got even worse Sunday.
The New England quarterback threw 3 interceptions in a 37-26 loss to Baltimore and then he left the game in considerable pain. The former Alabama standout was sacked with less than 2 minutes to play and forced to leave the game with a lower left leg injury.
According to reporter Greg Bedard, Jones was “screaming in pain” as he was helped to the locker room. We now have video that proves he was indeed screaming in pain and it is even more awful than you could imagine.
It has been a tough start to 2022 for Jones from a health standpoint.

NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Monday that tests confirmed Jones suffered a “pretty severe” high ankle sprain.
The current hope is Jones can avoid surgery and he’s getting a second opinion that will further clarify his timeline to return.
