Fans had a lot to say following a tweet from New York Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner on the Ja Morant situation.
The Memphis Grizzlies star is in hot water again after a recent live Instagram video showed him allegedly flashing a friend while in a car with friends. This comes just over two months after Morant displayed a gun in another Instagram video in a Denver nightclub (Morant was ultimately not charged).
In a tweet that has since been deleted (screenshot available below), Gardner wrote, “Everybody have guns bro. No need to post it on IG Live lol”.
Gardner’s tweet led to a plethora of different reactions from fans on social media, many of which agreed with what Gardner had to say:

The Jets drafted Gardner in the first round at No. 4 overall a year ago. The ex-Cincinnati Bearcats star had a superb rookie year for the Jets, recording two interceptions and a league-leading 20 pass defenses en route to Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.
The Grizzlies announced that they have suspended the 23-year-old star from team activities indefinitely. The No. 2 selection of the 2019 NBA Draft helped the Grizzlies to the second-best record in the Western Conference (51-31), but they were eliminated by LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in six games.
Morant underwent counseling for stress management following the first gun-flashing incident in Denver two months ago. We’ll provide more details on this matter as they become available.
