Aaron Rodgers could’ve done so much better just not giving an answer as to why he deceived so many people to think he had gotten his vaccine for the 2021 season.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback said the “woke mob” is targeting him following his positive test for the coronavirus after failing to get vaccinated.
“I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now,” Rodgers said on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday. “So before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I would like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself.”
Just the very next day, Saturday Night Live wasted no time in making fun of Rodgers and what he said as comedian Pete Davidson dressed up just like him for their own version of his interview.
Rodgers said he underwent a medical treatment against the coronavirus over the summer, which he tried to get the NFL to accept as a vaccination — a request the league denied.
Rodgers claimed he is allergic to an ingredient in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and felt uncomfortable taking the Johnson & Johnson shot because of the side effects.
