New York Giants fans are holding their breath and simply hoping that star running back Saquon Barkley avoided a serious injury.
The 26-year-old running back was helped off the field in the fourth quarter of the Giants’ road game against the Arizona Cardinals. There is no update on his injury, but Barkley’s agitated reaction on the sideline is certainly concerning:
Barkley had his ankle taped up but wasn’t able to return in the Giants’ thrilling 31-28 comeback win in The Desert. He finished the day with 63 rushing yards, one touchdown and six receptions for 29 yards and a receiving touchdown.
