Baker Mayfield is not having a great start to 2020.
It was just a few weeks ago when a photo surfaced online showing the Cleveland Browns QB looking out of shape, and it made it even worse because he was standing next to four other NFL players who were completely ripped.
TMZ Sports recently caught up with one of the players who was in that photo: Saquon Barkley.
The New York Giants running back defended Mayfield for his dad bod, stating quarterbacks don’t have to be shredded at their position.
“He’s a quarterback, he’s not supposed to be shredded,” said Barkley when asked about the pic.
“We in off-season, he’s gonna have time to get his body right. He can throw the ball 80 yards. That’s the only thing that matters.”
