Saquon Barkley is changing teams but staying in the NFC East.
Barkley left a sour taste in the mouth of his former fan base after he signed a three-year, $ 37.75 million with the Philadelphia Eagles following six years with the Giants.
Barkley’s fellow former Giants star running back, Tiki Barber, hated everything about the move. In fact, he told Barkley, “You’re dead to us,” on WFAN.
Barkley wasted little time firing back as he stated he got more guaranteed money from the Eagles than what the Giants offered while also taking a shot at his predecessor.

Barkley added: “You been a hater since I got to New York … and all the ‘Dead to me’ talk don’t smile in my face when you see me.”
Barkley, the No. 2 overall pick of the 2018 draft, spent the first six seasons of his career with the Giants.
His departure comes a year after the team placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on him last March. Barkley and the Giants went back and forth in contract negotiations, but he ultimately settled on a renegotiated tag for the 2023 season.
Now, he could become a nuisance for his former team which he will face two times a year.
