Sam Darnold is having an afternoon to forget.
During the Carolina Panthers’ home game against the New England Patriots, the Panthers QB tossed three interceptions. Not surprisingly, his fan base as well as his teammates are sick of it.
Wide receiver Robby Anderson could be seen yelling at him on the sidelines. Rather than retaliate, Darnold simply puts on his cap and ignores it.
This is not a good look for a Panthers team that started out the season with so much promise after winning their first three games.
They had the opportunity to trade for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson at the deadline, but decided to put those negotiations on hold until the offseason. Following this latest stinker from Darnold, they’re probably regretting that decision right about now.
