Derek Carr has found his new team.
After weeks of rumors, the former Las Vegas Raiders QB will be taking his talents to the New Orleans Saints, who are reportedly giving him a 4-year deal. The amount that the Saints are paying Carr has not been confirmed, but Ian Rapoport claims it’s expected to be “a big QB number.”
The Saints had interviewed Carr when he was still on the Raiders, but instead of a trade, both sides opted to wait for him to be released.
In 2022, Carr appeared in 15 games for the Raiders and completed 60.8 percent of his passes for 3,522 yards, 24 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also rushed for 102 yards.
His numbers could’ve been even better if the Raiders had not benched him for the final two games of the year.
