Taysom Hill can do a lot of things, but taking cheap shots is not one of them. On Sunday against Washington, The Saints QB had to be carted off the field after taking a dirty hit to the head.
Washington cornerback William Jackson was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play. One look at the replay and it’s hard to argue with that call from the officials.
More to come on his condition.
The good news for the Saints is they were able to make the most of the penalty, punching it into the end zone just three plays later on a 23-yard run by Alvin Kamara. That score tied things up at 13 apiece early in the second quarter.
This was Tayson Hill’s second target of the contest. He had one earlier, which he hauled in for an 11-yard reception. He entered the game with two receptions for 26 yards, along with 16 rushes for 77 yards and three touchdowns. Let’s hope he’s okay after that brutal hit.
