We all know how the narrative goes: The New Orleans Saints ALWAYS get screwed by the refs.
Well, it looks like we’ll be hearing more of this same old story thanks to this Dalvin Cook touchdown that put the Minnesota Vikings up 20-10 against the Saints in today’s Wild Card matchup.
On 2nd-and-goal from the New Orleans one-yard line, Cook took a handoff from Kirk Cousins and appeared to have a clear path into the end zone. But Saints linebacker Demario Davis filled the hole at the last second and appeared to have stonewalled the Vikings running back just short of the goal line.
However, after a short delay, the refs signaled it a touchdown. And upon further review the call was upheld, despite the fact that the ball looked to be just short of the goal line.
