Shortly after Drew Brees suffered a thumb injury in the Saints’ loss against the Los Angeles Rams — ESPN’s First Take decided to “debate” if New Orleans was “done” this season.
Stephen A. Smith did not hesitate to stick a fork in them.
“The Saints are done without Drew Brees,” Smith proclaimed. “Period.”
Shockingly, he was so wrong as the Saints have now won 5 games in a row since Brees’ injury.
