Saints fans are nothing if not resilient.
On Super Bowl Sunday, thousands of Saints fans took to theses streets of New Orleans to put on the ‘Boycott Bowl’ where they refused to watch Super Bowl 53 following the controversy in the NFC Championship game.
It turns out they didn’t miss much since the Los Angeles Rams left their offense in the city and scored a putrid 3 points all game long as they went down in defeat to the New England Patriots.
Instead of watching the game, New Orleans area restaurants and bars played the Super Bowl from 2010 where they won their first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. Super Bowl XLIV was won by the Saints who defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17.
