Last year after the draft, Titans QB Ryan Tannehill answered questions about the club trading up to add Malik Willis in the third round.
After Willis was drafted, Tannehill said he didn’t think it was “my job to mentor” the rookie quarterback. That was certainly within his right as the team brought him in to play quarterback.

Last week, Levis completed 19 of 39 passes for 199 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the Titans’ 20-6 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
His coming out party came against the Atlanta Falcons when he threw for 238 yards and four touchdowns two weeks ago.
Malik Willis has certainly had his chances to prove he could take the job and has failed on that quest multiple times. It’s almost a foregone conclusion that his time with the Titans will end.
