A.J Brown enjoyed every moment of going against his former team on Sunday. Brown went off against his former team Sunday, catching eight passes for 119 yards and two scores in the Philadelphia Eagles’ 35-10 win over the Tennessee Titans.
After the final quarter, Titans QB Ryan Tannehill found Brown on the field anmd delivered a message to him.
With a huge hug, Tannehill said to Brown, “Why’d you have to do it like that? You didn’t have to do all that.”
After the game, Brown explained why he had to do the Titans the way he did when he revealed he wanted to make them regret trading him to Philly in the offseason:

“I feel like regardless of how the trade and everything goes down, I feel like me personally, I feel like I’ve won,” he told reporters. “I say that because I changed my family’s life forever. That’s the goal. Especially growing up from where I’m from. Of course I want to do great and accomplish all the great things, but that’s the reason why we play the game.”
Brown led the Eagles in targets, receptions, and yards in Sunday’s win, which happened to come against the team that traded him during the 2022 NFL Draft. Titans’ wideouts caught just four passes for 41 yards and a touchdown Sunday.
The Titans traded Brown to the Eagles for the Nos. 18 and 101 overall picks in the 2022 draft. The Titans would then go on to use the first pick to select Treylon Burks and the second one in a trade to compile more picks—and Brown promptly signed a four-year, $100 million extension with the Birds.
Through 12 games, the young WR has caught 61 of his 96 targets for 950 yards and nine touchdowns.
The Eagles are now 11-1 while the Titans are still 7-5 and in first place in the AFC South.
