Former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett was the unfortunate victim of a drowning incident on Tuesday, leaving the football community in absolute shock.
The 35-year-old was rushed to hospital after being pulled out of Florida waters but did not survive after having gone under.
Mallett, who played for the Patriots, Texans, and Ravens in a career spanning 2011-2018, had only just gone public with his latest relationship. The former QB confirmed he was dating Madison Carter via a Facebook post on June 1.
He posted a photo of the two of them smiling on June 18 bearing the caption, “Appreciation post for my DR/driver/nurse Madison Carter.”
Both of their Instagram accounts are private.
Mallett had also been in a four-month marriage to adult model Tiffany Seely in 2020. The pair went through a messy divorce inclusive of prenuptial controversy and a dispute over their dogs. Tiffany took to social media to address his death this week.
