Vincent Jackson, a former wide receiver for the Buccaneers and Chargers, was found dead Monday in the Florida hotel where he had been living since January.
It was a shocking announcement for a man who was just 38-years-old.
Ryan Leaf simply does not know what to do anymore.
The former NFL quarterback took to social media and released an emotional and profane video aimed at the league for simply not giving two shits about players after their career is over.
Leaf also admit to saying he has “survivor’s guilt” in the wake of Jackson’s death.
“The NFL doesn’t f—ing care. They don’t care,” Leaf said while fighting back tears. “They’ll write condolence letters and sh** like that, but if they were invested they’d actually put some money behind the Legends Community. And into the mental health, substance abuse side of it. Once you’re bad for the brand, they can give two s**ts.”
