The 17-year cicadas are invading a large section of the United States. The largest brood makes its appearance every 17 years, like clockwork, in the northeastern quarter of the United States.
Ryan Fitzpatrick had an upclose encounter with one of them this week.
One Cicada made its home right in Ryan Fitpatrick’s beard and he was just fine with it.
Just so you know, Cicadas cannot bite or sting; they don’t even have jaws. Even still, the very sight of them can make someone’s flesh crawl.
Not Ryan Fitzpatrick. He’s a pro on and off the field.
