Amazon Prime Video “Thursday Night Football” analyst and former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had a hilarious joke after learning that Brittany and Patrick Mahomes named their third child “Golden.”
Earlier this week, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes announced that they welcomed their third child, a daughter named “Golden.” They also have a daughter named Sterling Skye, and a son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon.
Though the son’s official birthname is Patrick, he’s widely called by the “Bronze” nickname. And that’s where Ryan Fitzpatrick delivered a priceless joke on X/Twitter about the Mahomes’ naming two of their kids after a metal.
Ryan Fitzpatrick was responding to a lighthearted joke from Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who apparently told Patrick Mahomes that having five kids wouldn’t be difficult whatsoever:
I agree with Andy’s assessment but the issue for the Mahomies isn’t having more it’s the fact that they are running out of precious metals to name their kids

In a follow-up post, “Fitzmagic” even proposed some metal-themed names if Patrick and Brittany decide to have more kids:
All name suggestions welcome for 4th and 5th kids….i’ll start

As for Patrick Mahomes, his Chiefs are now focused on locking down a seventh straight AFC Championship Game appearance with the Houston Texans coming to town. The two clubs will square of at 4:30 p.m. EST at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Tom Brady-led New England Patriots hold the record for most consecutive conference championship game appearances with eight, reaching the final four eight years in a row from 2011 to 2018. If the Chiefs win this weekend, they’ll inch one step closer to tying that record.
