Come Monday, we should not be seeing Ryan Clark on television. Not because he got fired, but because he stated he would not be there for a particular reason.
Earlier this week, the former NFL defensive back turned ESPN analyst said he would stop working if the Colts lost to the Jaguars.
“No concern at all. I’ve been skeptical of Carson Wentz in many situations, this is not one of them. The Jacksonville Jaguars are absolutely awful,” Clark said on ESPN’s First Take. ”If the Colts lose to them, I’m going to stop working. I will not come in on Monday.”
As you know, the Jags asserted their will against the Colts and won 26-14 to end their hopes of making the postseason. The Steelers defeating the Ravens put the final nail in the coffin for the Colts.
Amazingly, it was the seventh straight season the Colts have failed to win their road game against the Jaguars, with six losses in Jacksonville and another in London.
