The Dallas Cowboys dominated the Minnesota Vikings to secure a 40-3 victory Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis. Cowboys running back Tony Pollard had a big game tallying 189 yards from scrimmage and two total touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliott added two touchdowns as well.
It was pure domination on offense and defense. Dak Prescott completed 22-of-25 while the defense had seven sacks, its most in a game since 2008.
The game was so lopsided that ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark issued an apology to the Dallas Cowboys.
“Dear, Dan Quinn, Joe Whitt Jr, @TrevonDiggs , @Jayronkearse8 , @MicahhParsons11 , & @donlwilson6 . My bad! I was wrong. Y’all kicked a whole game of azz. I apologize. Publicly,” he wrote.
“Real one!!” Micah Parsons replied.

“Way to own it,” commented Cowboys writer Patrik Walker. “A rare quality these days.”
The apology came about after the former NFL defensive back turned ESPN analyst predicted the Cowboys defense would get shredded by Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense.
At 7-3, the Cowboys are two games behind the 9-1 Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East.
The New York Giants also are 7-3, but the Cowboys beat them earlier in the season, and they will host New York on Thanksgiving for the first holiday matchup against their division rivals.
If the team can beat them on Thanksgiving, it will certainly help in their pursuit of Odell Beckham Jr.
