It’s hardly a secret that Russell Wilson is unlikely to be with the Denver Broncos next season after he was benched for the final two games of 2023.
The quarterback is nearing an exit, with various sources picking out a handful of destinations for him. But it appears that Russ is more than ready to move on as he has already removed the team from his bio on Twitter/X.
Wilson and head coach Sean Payton didn’t appear to be on the same page for most of last season, especially towards the end.
The QB would also reveal that the team had threatened to bench him earlier in the season if he didn’t push his injury guarantee date back.
Clearly, there is no love lost between the parties. Now, we’re just waiting to see where he ends up.
