Russell Wilson doesn’t appear to be thrilled with anybody in the Carroll family these days.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback is coached by head coach Pete Carroll as well as his two sons, who have been offensive assistants in Seattle: Nate Carroll and Brenna Carroll. His frustrations with the team also extend to his children.
According to a report from TheAthletic.com, Wilson and those around him believe Carroll and his sons answer to no one.
Brennan recently left for a role with the University of Arizona. Nate Carroll still remains on the team, but has reportedly been so frustrated with his role that he briefly stepped away from the team.
“I’m [going to] really miss Brennan not being part of our club because he and Nate have been really big factors because they’ll tell me stuff other guys won’t tell me,” Pete Carroll said last month. “They have always been really instrumental, and moving forward, I’m going to miss something there.”
Wilson has not demanded a trade from the team, but has reportedly laid out the teams he would love to play for should he and the organization come to that point.
