The Denver Broncos have had a busy offseason thus far. To this point, they’ve made the biggest blockbuster trade by acquiring Russell Wilson from the Seahawks for a boatload of picks and players.
And now, it appears as though that huge acquisition could result in another big time player making his way to the Mile High city.
According to several reports, Wilson has been trying to recruit Bobby Wagner to join him in Denver. Wagner is currently a free agent after being released by Seattle earlier in the offseason.
Wilson is not officially a Bronco just yet, but he will be very soon — once the league processes the trade at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, when the new league year officially begins.
The Broncos have already made one big splash on defense in free agency. Just when it seemed like Randy Gregory was re-signing with the Cowboys, Denver dove in and intercepted that pass, inking the defensive end to a three-year deal.

Whether or not the Gregory deal derails the possibility of Wagner joining the Broncos remains to be seen, and the Broncos have already done quite a bit of spending. But if Wagner does show interested in Denver, you’d have to think the Broncos will at least try to make the numbers work.
