Jamal Adams did all he can to make his way off the New York Jets roster and he finally got his wish.
On Saturday, it was reported that the disgruntled star was being shipped off to the Seattle Seahawks. The deal included the Jets sending a 2022 fourth-round pick to the Seahawks in return for a 2021 first-round pick, a 2021 third-round pick, 2022 first-round pick and S Bradley McDougald.
Soon after the news hit, QB Russell Wilson took to Twitter and reacted favorably to the trade.
The former first-round pick of the Jets back in 2017 recorded 75 tackles, 6.5 sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles, one recovery, two defensive touchdowns and seven pass defenses during the 2019 season.
