Russell Wilson is on his way out of the Denver area.
The Denver Broncos are reportedly expected to release quarterback Russell Wilson ahead of March’s free-agency period.
In the meantime, the Denver Broncos quarterback and his wife Ciara are accepting offers on their Cherry Hills Village, Colorado home.
Thomas Gounley of Business Den was the first to report it as he added that the couple paid $25 million for their home in April 2022, soon after the Seattle Seahawks traded Wilson to the Broncos.
Along with accepting offers on the home, the couple is providing tours to prospective buyers, per the report.
Wilson’s future in Denver has been clear ever since he was benched during the Broncos’ final games of the 2023 season. His benching came despite having a solid season up to that point. His 66.4 completion percentage last season was his highest since 2020. Russell also threw 26 touchdowns last season against just eight picks.

Head coach Sean Payton, however, has stated in so many words that Wilson is just not the guy and certainly not who he wants at QB for his team.
When asked about his decision to bench Wilson, Broncos head coach Sean Payton said it had everything to do with trying to win games. The team was coming off consecutive losses to the Lions and Patriots and was still in the playoff mix at that point.
Denver finished 8-9 on the season.
Now it appears the Wilsons will be moving on after a short stay in town.
