Free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown has been hoping to get another chance to play alongside Tom Brady and it looks like it might just happen.
Both JT The Brick of Mad Dog Sports Radio and Michael Lombardi of The Athletic heard rumors linking Brown to the Bucs, who’ve already added former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski to their offense during the offseason.
However, it should be noted that Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is on record saying it’s not going to happen.
“Yeah, it’s not gonna happen. There’s no room. And probably not enough money. But it’s not gonna happen. It’s not a fit here,” Arians said in March.

The Bucs currently don’t have the money for a player like Brown, but could make some room if they truly wanted to….if they wanted to. The biggest issue with signing Brown has less to do with money and more to do with his locker room presence and how he’s liable to go off about something on social media.
The 31-year-old was traded to the Oakland Raiders in March 2019, but only lasted 6 months before he got released. His tenure with the Patriots lasted just under two weeks before they parted ways with him as well.
