The team is moving to Las Vegas and that changes everything.
After the New England Patriots’ 20-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans in the AFC wild-card game Saturday night, the six-time Super Bowl champ and impending free agent sort of made it clear about his future plans going forward.
“I would say it’s pretty unlikely,” Brady said when asked if he plans to retire. “Hopefully unlikely.
“Who knows what the future holds? We’ll leave it at that.”
Brady is set to be 43 before the 2020 season begins, and with the Patriots likely looking to get younger behind center, that might have Brady on the outside looking in.
That got Complex Sports starting speculation about a possible partnership with Jon Gruden and the Las Vegas Raiders.

“The Raiders are officially off to Las Vegas, and what better way to make a splash in a new city than bring in the GOAT? And honestly, Jon Gruden wasn’t exactly singing Derek Carr’s praises after the season ended. Seeing Brady in a Raiders jersey would be insane.”
Carr is set to make $18.9 million in base salary in 2020, but if the Raiders trade or release him before June 1, they will save $16.5 million and take a cap hit of $5 million, according to Spotrac.
The Raiders definitely appear to be a good fit for Brady, but so do the Los Angeles Chargers, who just might be parting ways with Philip Rivers and also moving in another stadium as well.
The last reason Brady might be headed to the West Coast is possibly either of those teams taking a chance or another chance on Antonio Brown. After the Patriots lost Saturday night, the former Raiders wide receiver tweeted that he only wants to play with Brady in 2020.
