Where will Zach Wilson end up? There has been a ton of quarterback movement this offseason but Zach Wilson still remains on the New York Jets as of right now.
What little leverage the New York Jets had regarding a Zach Wilson trade has gone away with how the quarterback market evolved this offseason.
Mac Jones and Justin Fields have been traded and both have only netted two sixth-round picks in trades. Zach Wilson is nowhere as good as them so it leaves his trade market almost non-existent.
However, a heavy rumor circulating social media is naming the San Francisco 49ers as a possible designation for the Jets quarterback.
As it stands right now, Brock Purdy is your starting quarterback for 2024 and the 49ers have Brandon Allen and recently signed San Darnold in the QB room. It is unlikely that the 49ers will give up a draft pick and simply wait for Zach Wilson to be released.
You could make the argument that Wilson has been worse than all of the aforementioned quarterbacks.

“The Jets are trying to find a new home for him, but the trade market hasn’t been kind,” ESPN‘s Rich Cimini wrote Sunday.
Wilson has had three seasons to prove himself as a starter so far and he has given 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns, 25 interceptions, and a 57 percent completion rate. His supporting cast has not been great, but he has made the situation worse by being benched multiple times for poor play. There were also some concerns raised about his character this past season.

Zach Wilson Needs Fresh Start On New Team Before His Career Takes An Even Bigger Slide
Jets quarterback Zach Wilson knows his time in New York is finished after he listed his Florham Park, New Jersey home for sale in anticipation that he is going to be shipped out. His three seasons of showing close to nothing on the field has his entire career in limbo and he could easily find himself on the outside looking in.
There doesn’t seem to be much of a market for the former BYU star but he just needs one team to believe in him and possibly set himself up to show everybody where his true talent lies and can be pulled out of him.
