The first year of having LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers was a complete failure as the team failed to qualify for the playoffs.
That was partly due to the fact that Bron had the team in the 4th seed before he got injured, miss 17 games only to return to a team in 10th place. The trading deadline all but killed team morale as the younger players had no use to play for the franchise anymore since their names came up in trade talks involving Anthony Davis.
The Lakers most certainly want to make another splash in free agency this summer, but could it actually be the biggest name on the team that might get traded.
Stephen A. Smith of ESPN revealed that “folks close to Jeanie Buss” are “imploring her to trade” James.
In a Twitter post, Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Heavy pretty much corroborated Smith’s comments by stating he’s received calls regarding teams who are interested in trading for James. One of the team happens to be the Denver Nuggets.
“There is truth to that notion. Stephen A Smith is not lying. Got a call after the trading deadline that suggested that teams were interested. I’ll name a team too: Denver Nuggets.”

Nuggets president Josh Kroenke tried his best to lure James to Denver when he became an unrestricted free agent last July, but Bron had no interest in coming there.
It would be shocking to see who the Nuggets would want to part ways with in order to grab the best player in the game. They certainly have a bunch of assets.
