If there is one thing the Cleveland Browns could use, it’s offensive line help to give Baker Mayfield more time to see the field and deliver on-point passes and get those interceptions down.
Earlier today, Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository dropped the news that Redskins disgruntled left tackle Trent Williams “should be on Browns roster quite soon.”
Last week, Redskins president Bruce Allen told reporters that there’s been “no dialogue” with any team regarding a potential trade for Williams.
But before any Browns fans start celebrating, Les Carpenter of The Washington Post spoke to Washington officials who denied an impending deal coming soon.
This could very well be posturing on the Redskins’ part and they are working out all the parameters behind the scenes just before the trade deadline two weeks from today.
