Back in October, Kliff Kingsbury was still the head coach of the Texas Tech Red Raiders when a reporter asked him about Oklahoma Sooners standout quarterback Kyler Murray. That’s when Kliff Kingsbury complimented him to the point that he said he would take him 1st overall in the NFL draft.
Kyler Murray made it official today, announcing he’s all in on being an NFL QB. Now that teams know his intentions going forward, it’s up to front offices to see if he is worth selecting high before he gets taken off the board.
As it turns out, he might be the first player taken in the draft.
On Monday, Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller sent out a cryptic tweet that suggests the Arizona Cardinals have already informed Murray that they will be selecting him.
The likelihood of the Cardinals moving on from Rosen after one year is slim to none, but stranger things have happened in this league.
