The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly willing to part ways with Davante Adams if it means they’ll get Brandon Aiyuk in exchange.
Aiyuk requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, and the Raiders are believed to be among the teams keen on completing a deal.
According to social media insider @prettyrickey213, the “Raiders would send Davante Adams to the Niners in any trade. Davante has no real money on his deal after this season.”
The Niners don’t need a pick at the moment and would need to see a player head the other way if Aiyuk is to leave them, given that we’re months removed from the draft. They’d probably be in for another receiver if things end up that way.
Aiyuk and Adams are very similar. Of course, Adams is the better WR and has more experience, but he’s also turning 32 this year.
It’s no secret that the Raiders star wants out of Vegas and would probably be happy to join a team like the 49ers, who are a few moves away from a Super Bowl win, although he has said he’d prefer a reunion with Aaron Rodgers over any other trade.

As for Aiyuk, he’s looking for a bigger bag and more snaps, so he’d likely be willing to go anywhere he can get those.
Brandon Aiyuk For Davante Adams Seems Like A Sensible Deal
Should the Raiders really offer Davante Adams as part of a trade package for Brandon Aiyuk, as is rumored above, he would be considered a bargain.
The three-time first-team All-Pro is set to make less than $17 million in 2024. While his salary would more than double to $36 million the following season, the Niners can rework his contract or release him, as it’s not guaranteed.
A trade might be the best thing for San Francisco. Forcing a receiver to play out his fifth year instead of trading for a star who wants to be on their roster would not be a great look and could do more harm than good.
The Niners could have a lot to consider here.
