Former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was apparently seen visiting the yacht of an NFL owner, days after his departure from New England.
Apparently, the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach was spotted on the DreAMBoat, the yacht that belongs to Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank. “AMB” are Blank’s initials (his middle name is “Morris”).
That strongly indicates that the two spoke about the possibility of Belichick coming aboard (no pun intended) to coach the Falcons, who now have a vacancy following the dismissal of Arthur Smith.
Last week, Belichick and Patriots owner Robert Kraft held a press conference to announce that the legendary head coach was leaving the organization after 24 years. Belichick led the Patriots to nine AFC Championships, 17 AFC East division titles and six Super Bowls between the 2001 and 2019 seasons.
At this time, there are seven NFL head coaching vacancies. Aside from the Falcons, the Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Chargers, Tennessee Titans and Washington Commanders also need a new head coach.
