We can only hope this isn’t actually true, because itf it is, Colts fans have reached a new low.
On Saturday, shock-waves went through Lucas Oil Stadium when fans began to get notifications of Andrew Luck retiring at age 29. Fans booed him off the field as he walked to the tunnel.
Kent Sterling seems to indicate there was more than booing going on.
The Indianapolis-based radio broadcaster took to Twitter on Monday and threw out an unconfirmed report of somebody slashing Luck’s tires after his announcement.
“If the report of Andrew Luck’s tires being slashed is true, that’s pathetic.”
He was blasted in the comments for putting it out if he hadn’t confirmed it, to which he told another Twitter user the story came from the dealership servicing Luck’s car.

“I am not reporting. I have not verified the story, which emanated from the dealership allegedly servicing the car. Just saying if it is true, people need to check themselves.”
Others have argued it was disrespectful and unsympathetic to boo a man who simply felt he could no longer endure a consistent string of injuries and long rehabilitations by continuing to play football. Slashing his tires just put that disrespect out of this realm.
Get it together, Colts fans!
