The Cleveland Browns now have extra motivation to try to make their AFC North record 2-1 on Sunday as they face off against the Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Baltimore Ravens star linebacker Roquan Smith provided some bulletin board material with his latest quote.
“You go in there as the enemy to go take over and that’s our plan,” Smith said. “I think they call it a ‘dog pound’ … I consider myself a dog so I’m right at home in that place …
“I know they’re a physical football team but so are we, and at the end of the day it’s gonna be the most physical football team that comes out victorious.”
He continued:
“We going over to beat their tails in front of their wife and kids.”
Yikes. You can fully expect guys like Myles Garrett to use this as motivation.

Last week, Smith registered 12 tackles (four solo), including a half-sack and a pass deflection, in Sunday’s 22-19 OT loss to the Colts.
Smith has been one of the best linebackers and overall players in football to start the season. In three games, he has recorded 33 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two tackles for loss while anchoring a strong Baltimore defense.
He will need to be on top of his game to stop quarterback Deshaun Watson who had his best game as a Brown last week as he completed 27 of 33 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns. He also showed his toughness by taking several big hits which is why he is dealing with a sore right throwing shoulder but is expected to play Sunday when Cleveland hosts the Baltimore Ravens.
Watson’s performance quieted some of the criticism he received after two shaky outings to start the season. Through three games, Watson has completed 65 of 102 passes (63.7%) for 678 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.
Sunday is going to be fun.
