On Thursday, the New York Giants took the field for their first practice of training camp before the 2019 season kicks off and it couldn’t have started worst for Daniel Jones.
The rookie quarterback came in with the second team to chants of “we want Jones” from the Giants fan base.
It didn’t take long for those chants to end.
The former Duke standout’s first seven passes resulted in four incompletions, a batted ball, a dropped pass and one interception.

That is just a rough start for anybody, but especially on a rookie QB who is expected to be the future of a franchise.
