You think Washington head coach Ron Rivera was happy about his team’s win over the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night?
In all fairness, Rivera and the Washington Football Team had every right to be excited. Sure, the Seahawks may not be the most formidable opponent these days, but it was still a hard-fought battle that resulted in a third-straight win for the Football Team. And with that, Washington now finds themselves sitting in the third and final Wild Card spot in the NFC.
That right there is reason to celebrate. And celebrate is exactly what Ron Rivera did, as he yelling Tom Brady’s popular catchphrase, “Let’s F-cking Go,” to the fans in attendance as he made his way off the field last night.
Not only is Washington in a playoff spot, but they’re also just two games back of the Cowboys in the NFC East, with two games against Dallas still remaining on their schedule.
And to think, this club was 2-6 and seemingly out of it heading into their week 9 bye.
Rivera took his fiery emotions with him into the locker room for his post-game speech. It was something alright:
