The mood around the NFL world is much more uplifting now that we’ve been getting consecutive days of good news regarding the condition of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
Yesterday, we were informed that Hamlin had his breathing tube removed and he even made an appearance at the Bills’ team meting via a zoom call.
This morning, with the week 18 slate set to kick off with a couple of Saturday tilts with playoff implications on the line.
Prior to the teams kicking off the final week of the 2022 regular season, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell released a message regarding Hamlin’s progress following Monday night’s scary incident. He also took a moment to thank the medical personnel and staff who helped save Hamlin’s life, and he applauded the entire NFL family (teams, players, coaches and fans) for coming together and showing how strong they are during this tough time.
The entire NFL world is breathing a big sigh of relief, as Hamlin appears to be on the road to a full recovery after suffering cardiac arrest not once, but twice on Monday night.

The NFL has planned several way to show support for Hamlin and those who saved his life this weekend, including pregame shirts, a moment of silence, and markings on the field at the 30-yard-line.
