The New York Jets got completely embarrassed on Sunday.
The Jets needed a victory over the Miami Dolphins badly. Their playoff hopes were already on life support, but this was to keep the dream alive just a little bit longer as there was a slight chance the team could get Aaron Rodgers back.
The loss to the Dolphins was everything wrong with the team right now as they got smacked to the tune of a 30-0 loss.
As a result of that beat down, both SNY’s Connor Hughes and The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt reported that head coach Robert Saleh is losing his voice in the locker room.

Saleh now has a 16-32 record as head coach of the Jets.
A week after Zach Wilson threw for over 300 yards against Houston, the Jets’ third-year quarterback’s day was cut short when he left in the second quarter with a head injury. New York was shut out for the first time since the 2021 season.

Coming into 2023, the Jets had sky-high expectations with the addition of Aaron Rodgers but once he went down after four plays, things began to look bleak.
Now, for the 13th consecutive season, there will be no postseason football for the New York Jets. That is currently the longest streak in American sports.
The last time the Jets made the playoffs was in 2010 when Rex Ryan guided them to their second consecutive AFC Championship Game appearance.
