It did not take Aaron Rodgers long to make himself at home with the New York Jets.
New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh shared an interesting tidbit about his new quarterback on Wednesday.
During Aaron Rodgers’ introductory press conference on Wednesday, Saleh revealed that the quarterback has already started showing up to meetings with no shoes on.
“Went in one of the meetings earlier and he was walking around barefoot. He’s awesome,” Saleh said, via team insider Pat Leonard.
This is not the first time Rodgers’ feet have been a matter of discussion with the media.

Back in 2021, photos of Aaron Rodgers’ foot were circulating on Twitter as the Green Bay Packers quarterback set to settle the controversy over whether he had a fracture or a syndrome known as “COVID toe.”
He said at the time that he did not have any lingering effects from his COVID-19 diagnosis other than “COVID toe,” which he described as “more painful than turf toe.” He also went as far as to change his Twitter profile picture to his injured barefoot.
A Jets franchise that hasn’t reached the playoffs since 2009 now hopes Rodgers will put his best foot forward as a member of Gang Green in his 19th pro season.
The team not only wants to make the playoffs, but go deep into the playoffs to possibly compete for the Super Bowl.
One Super Bowl win would likely get Rodgers a statue outside the stadium.
