On Tuesday, prosecutors in Florida reportedly offered to drop charges against New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The reported deal came with some stipulations that included Kraft having to admit he would have been proven guilty had the case gone to trial.
The Wall Street Journal reports that prosecutors offered a deferred prosecution agreement to Kraft and the other men caught up in the sting that would require them to complete an education course about prostitution, complete 100 hours of community service, screen for sexually transmitted diseases and pay a portion of court costs.
What is unclear right now is if Kraft would actually accept that plea deal.
Despite investigators stating they have Kraft dead to rights with video evidence, he is denied any wrongdoing.
It was last month when Kraft and others were caught in a police sting as part of a human trafficking probe focusing on massage parlors in Florida.
Authorities said Kraft had visited a spa in Jupiter, Florida, on Jan. 19 and 20 and received sexual services in exchange for money, with the last visit coming on the same day he watched his Patriots defeat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City.
